Okay, so I know that I am pushing it here by talking about Halloween already but for those of us that sew, we do tend to think about holidays months in advance so that we give ourself time to complete our projects. I actually found this Halloween fabric back in July at a local Hancock Fabrics during their half off sale and could not pass it up. I decided to use a Market Bag pattern that I found on the Creative Thimble's website for my Trick or Treat Bag. My adult beginner students have used this pattern to make market bags in class and I needed an example bag to hang on the wall. I love how the straps go all the way around and it is really easy to make. Some folks have made some cute shopping bags from this pattern to carry groceries in to be more "green".
I still have more Halloween fabric to make another bag with for my other daughter and I will post pictures when I get that one made. It will be a different pattern from the one above.
