Last week was our girls' first week of Kindergarten and it was a roller coaster ride. I was called twice during the week by the school as my younger twin had hurt herself on the playground outside. So we sat down with her and explained big kid playground safety as she had managed to draw blood both times. Friday was quiet and she was a little under the weather from outdoor allergies so we thought that we all had finally made it through the week and we were ready for a relaxing weekend. Then it happened. On Saturday, she broke her arm while playing tag in our driveway with her sister. This started a four day long string of visits to urgent cares and hospitals which finally ended yesterday when her arm was set in a cast (she picked a pink one of course). She was also finally able to return to school today (thank goodness). I started my preschool job this Monday as well so we also had to do some juggling to get everyone where they needed to be on time.
I have only done a little sewing this week and it was mainly for our preschool room. I am working Tuesday-Thursday mornings at the preschool and will be offering some sewing classes in September. I still have openings for both adults and children and you can visit my website's homepage at www.sew-inspired.com to view what those openings are. As always, if you have any questions about my classes, please feel free to contact me.
Wishing everyone a calmer week!
