A New Look and A New Day!

It has been way too long since my last post and I just wanted to give everyone an update on things here. Yesterday was my last day at my preschool job (I worked three mornings a week at a local preschool) and the year is now over. I will not be returning next school year so that I can focus more on sewing lessons and my students. I am really looking forward to being able to put more energy into sewing but will miss the friends I have made at the preschool.

This past week, I have spent some time updating the look of my blog to match the look of my website. I now know more about html code than I ever wanted to know! =) But I am really happy with the results and love the new graphics that I purchased from Home Sweet Home Graphics. I just love her designs and don't be surprised if I change the colors again as she has so many wonderful designs to choose from (she did the patriotic graphic below). She is even kind enough to share some free sets on her site that she has put together. Thank you Karol!

I am now working on getting ready for summer sewing lessons and the children & teens that will be starting in June. If you live in the Charlotte area and are interested in sewing lessons for yourself or your child, please visit my website to take a look at the summer schedule as the spaces are starting to fill up.

I hope that everyone has a safe and peaceful Memorial Day weekend and please remember to think of those that we have lost in service to our country.
