Patterns on Sale....Here is one to maybe try

This week, Hobby Lobby has Simplicity patterns on sale for 99 cents and so it is a good time to pick up a couple to try.  I would like to highlight a line of their patterns that are designed for beginner sewers.  They are called "Learn to Sew" patterns.  Here is a pattern that I used to make one of my daughters PJ pants:

This pattern is designed for those needing sizes 7-14 and the directions are even easy enough for an older child/early teen to follow.  There is only one pattern piece which is great!  Don't forget to prewash your fabric before making them.  The preferred fabrics to use are a cotton print or flannel.

Here are the flannel frog pants that I made for Lauren.  I had to alter the pattern slightly for her as she needed the length of an 8 but not the waist or leg width.
